Rhassoul Clay is a product that has been used for over 1400 years as a soap, shampoo, and skin conditioner. This product is extracted from deep beneath the Atlas Mountains in Eastern Morocco. It is sun dried and untreated. When first mined, Rhassoul clay appears as a polished brown, soap-like clay, which is chunky in appearance and resembling rocks. This product is used by the finest spas across the world for its therapeutic benefits.

The Rhassoul Clay Preparation:
Mix the ghassoul in some warm water to obtain a smooth dough.
Bodycare: the dough is applied with circular movements to clean well the skin.
The ghassoul can be easily used in exfoliating face scrubs to give to the skin a sweetness and a sheen rarely equalled.
For hair: apply the dough to all hair, rather wet. Massage slowly your scalp then let rest approximately one quarter of an hour. Rinse carefully while brushing.
To give of the vitality and the flexibility to your hair, you can end with a mask made with rhassoul, orange-flower water and the argan oil.
For the dry skins or for more pleasure: mix the ghassoul in some rose water or the orange-flower water rather than in some simple tepid water. This care will leave you with a skin and a hair pleasantly perfumed.
For the very dry skins, you can add to the mixture some sweet almond or olive oil.
The Rhassoul Clay Utilization:
The rassoul, is an ultra-soft care, unlike shampoos and soaps, the ghassoul contains no surfactant and cleans according to a physical process.
Mixed in the water, the rhassoul inflated to form a very soft dough. Consisted of very fine particles, this dough absorbs the impurities and the fats as a blotter. They eliminate then in the rinsing. This very soft wash does not eliminate totally the lipo-protective film of the skin and the hair, as too aggressive surfactants can make it. The rhassoul does not affect the natural the protective sheath of the hair and it does not irritate either the sebaceous glands.
The rhassoul is so particularly recommended for the sensitive and allergic skins.
